About this artwork
I painted this piece after a smaller version of the image, which sold before I even had a chance to title it, says Benjamin. One of my peer painters remarked that what held their focus was the movement created by the shapes and colors. The reference image was taken on a trip to Florida, where almost every day the sky is an event. The pleasure of using large brushes and lots of paint shows itself in the texture on the canvas.
