About this artwork
I hope you enjoy viewing my vision of the quiet, rural landscapes of the American Heartland. Old farms, barns, meadows and big open skies are often the inspiration for my art. I am influenced by the old Barbizon, Tonalist, and Realist painters. I live and paint on an old farmstead in the Midwestern Heartland and my contemporary rural landscapes are painted simply from the heart. My art work is in collections throughout the U.S. and abroad. This painting can be hung unframed or framed. The edges are painted a solid color to match, and the piece comes wired and ready to hang!
