About this artwork

I spent a week in New Mexico this Fall, and the purpose of my time there was to nurture my creative spirit. I spent 7 days freely painting whatever came to mind. One of the most profound things I discovered during my time in New Mexico was my “marks”. Hence the naming of these first 2 landscapes sinsince returning to my studio….Landmark 1 & 2. They are landscapes in which I have incorporated my newly discovered marks (done using black paint and a liner brush). Oh so fun!??
