About this artwork

When Jenn Williamson paints, she doesn't use any reference material other than what happens on the canvas once she starts working. She chooses her colors intuitively and adds to her palette as the painting progresses. When starting a new painting, I use large brushes and I try not to overthink or overwork anything, Jenn says. Jenn explains of this painting, The presence of this piece captures your attention, while the soft and ethereal mood of it calms your soul. She used subtle glazes and metallic nuances to add mystery and depth. The painting is a classic example of her just walk right into it landscape style.
