About this artwork
Summertime, lunch, a martini, and swim time are the main elements of this piece, shares artist Rebecca Klementovich. It reminds me of the South of France. Earthy greens provide a balanced backdrop to the bright teal of the lake while hints of red, orange, and pink pop throughout the mountainside and valley. Another inspiration I had was to imagine Picasso or Matisse finishing up a little plein air session before heading back to Paris, quips Rebecca. Either way, the warm colors, and the lake were my main focus.
