"This dynamic abstract commands the viewer's presence," states artist Gena Brodie Robbins. "Two figures stand in the late afternoon sun peering outward towards the viewer. The title ponders the question of what is over the hill. Are the figures looking towards the hill they must cross? Or are they just over the hill? I painted them in an abstract manner, showing enough detail and pronounced shadows to portray the figures under sharp sunlight, beyond the hill."
