About this artwork

This entry in the newly revisited Fragmentation series plays with notions of deconstruction and movement. Can something broken remain whole? Lines connect, disconnect, and reconnect with intertwining strokes, in a dynamic rhythm of hues. Earthy tones like ochres, greens, and blacks mingle on the canvas. Fragments of color appear to be almost floating on the surface, moved by an unknown current, ready to be reconstructed or deconstructed anew. Yet, in the end, the gist is one of quiet unity.
