About this artwork
PARTY LINE is in homage to a bygone era. When I was growing up the phone hung on the wall and only traveled as far as the cord would extend. Some folks liked to mass communicate and have a party line so they could talk to more than one person at once. This original still life watercolor is painted in the realist tradition. It is painted on heavy weight acid free paper and is unmatted and unframed. The puffins are party animals and prefer the party line.
