About this artwork

I'm fortunate to live in an area with close proximity to several waterways and lakes. I live 15 minutes from the Ohio River and it is a favorite place to go watch boating during the warmer months. Several restaurants have boating docks and dining outdoors along the river bank. The Ohio River offers views of boats anything from the Belle of Louisville steamboat, barges, racing boats, yachts and sailboats. Fortunately the river is wide enough to handle the traffic! I photographed these sailboats from one of our favorite restaurants. This painting was created on 140lb Arches watercolor paper and will require framing for display.
