About this artwork
A couple sits facing one another. Artist Yenny Cocq cast this bronze sculpture using the lost wax process. She meticulously finished the piece by hand with polished highlights on the faces, knees and feet. The figures are elegant and express an emotion that is difficult to achieve with the abstraction of the human form, she says. The work comes mounted on an onyx stone base.
