About this artwork

The mosaic blends reclaimed wood, driftwood, yardsticks, colored domino blanks, and Montessori counting sticks with hand-sanded blocks. Salvaged, rescued, and forgotten pieces come together in a carefully arranged composition. Light and shadow interact, highlighting contrasts between decay and renewal.
