About this artwork

The wind blew through a tall grass prairie and oak hickory savanna. I kept hearing Tommy Makem singing 'The Wind That Shakes the Barley'. A sea of grass dressed in autumn colors. The blue sky drew me to a break in the trees. This painting shows why I love my rural home. This piece is on gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It comes varnished, wired, and ready to hang.
