About this artwork
This painting captures those fleeting moments when the sun approaches its zenith. The foreground is all cool blues and greens, but the artist changes the temperature to warmer tones as the rising light affects the distant landscape. Suzanne says, I have always liked the idea of what high noon does to the land around me. That concept is the basis for both this painting and its title.
