About this artwork

Artist Cynthia Ligeros presents an abstract inspired by the stunning colors in the clouds rising at dawn. The expressive brushwork depicts red clouds and heavenly bodies in mesmerizing movements. Cynthia creates organic forms for the underpainting and tightens it up with structural lines. The layering technique mirrors the more prominent theme of her work - the hard edges of our structured world contrasted against the organic forms of the natural world.
