About this artwork

This painting features an autumn fen and prairie. Goldenrod, sumac, and tall grasses fill the scene. Suzanne explains, Standing there, I spotted lavender and purple asters in the field. The tiny flowers were literally escaping towards a distant tree line, hence my inspiration and title. This piece is on gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It comes wired, ready to hang.
