About this artwork

This painting was inspired by a late afternoon drive home from work and sun setting on the tall trees near my home north of Houston, Texas. I took a quick photo from my phone to capture the color and then created a design of the trees with the cool shadow colors contrasted by the warm sunlit peeks.
