About this artwork
This is a view of my favorite slow moving peaceful river. Around the bend is that little island, barely visible here. Straight ahead, a shore line of the Black Hawk Forest Preserve, now renamed, but the older Native American reference sounds better. A safe haven for flora and fauna, this is truly a river sanctuary. This piece is on gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It comes varnished and ready to hang.
