About this artwork

Suzanne revisits the subject of a previous work, a meadow in bloom. However, the color temperature is different. Soft, cool, colors create the hazy effect of an overcast sky. Purple Joe Pye Weed and Canada thistles bloom, a contrast to the green. Suzanne says, I remembered Jimi Hendrix playing one of his electric guitar pieces, so the title is a nod to him. This piece is on gallery wrapped canvas. The painting continues around the sides. It comes varnished, wired, and ready to hang.
