About this artwork

A nude figure adjusts her pose, pulling her knee to her chest as she looks away in deep thought. I attempted to capture an essence of this contemplative mood, shares artist Sharon Sieben. The model resisted the intrusion and remained secluded in a world of her own. The resulting painting expresses both the warmth of the scene and the complex web of thoughts between the model and artist.
