About this artwork

The many hikes through the forests here on San Juan island bring me to the many paintings of the Lagoon. Nature teaches me about color, shapes and design. A light sky against foliage darkened by shadow. The many colors that are not obvious. But when you look closely they are there. Hundreds of shades. There is a life force that I see, smell and sense in the woods. Can you feel it?
