About this artwork
This work is part of my series that is inspired by and a tribute to the shorelines, lakes and small water bodies in and around the bountiful and blessed California geography where I live and work from. It invites the viewer to experience a moment to stillness, calm and quite in our busy lives. The painting is done with oil paints on a gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted black for a finished look. It comes with a coat of high gloss varnish to protect against dust and UV rays and is also wired and ready to hang.
