About this artwork

The farm buildings are from a century ago and the fields are no longer planted in corn, hay, or soybeans. Instead I find an artist's dream; acres of tall goldenrod, common milkweed, Queen Anne's Lace, and Drummond's Astor. The fall colors are rich and enticing, so I stop a while to set up my easel. Time to paint! This piece is on gallery wrapped canvas and the painting continues around the sides. It comes varnished, wired, and ready to hang.
