About this artwork

A narrow clearing in the woods lights up with soft afternoon sun, as though a spotlight from above. Deep reds and browns warm the verdant scene. There are times when the best place to visit with God is simply away from everyone else and alone in nature, says Kent Sullivan. Forest depths have been a shared conscience from artist to artist for thousands of years. King David wrote poetic in Psalm 96:12 - Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
