About this artwork

Poppies is one of my favorite flowers. I love their rich bright colors specially when they grow in wild nature. In this painting I have tried to get an impression of that brightness. I used a high contrast of brigh red poppies and green-blue leaves together to achieve this impression. The painting is painted with expressive brushstroks and rich texture which make is more dynamic.
