About this artwork

Artist Doug Cosbie paints the East Quoddy Lighthouse, known as the Head Harbour Lightstation, to the locals. The building towers at the northernmost tip of Campobello Island. Near the border of Maine, it was the summer home of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, shares Doug. He displays the oldest lighthouse in New Brunswick against the beautiful cliffside view with a finely blended color palette.
