About this artwork
The barn owl is a collage of brown and white eggshells. My use of the eggshells to create the bird is to symbolize remaining vulnerable even though one has grown strong and wise through life experience. The mixed media painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas and the sides are finished as an extension of the background. the back is wired and ready to hang.
