About this artwork
At first glance, a speckled wild bird’s egg sits on a simple white surface. Jennifer collaged sheet music of Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” over a layer of eggshells. The shadow cast by the egg is multicolored and light is reflected up to illuminate the underside of the egg. She comments “It’s a big title for a small painting but it felt right.”
