About this artwork
A bird's nest on a silver background. There are subtle hints of copper and gold in the nest. The strands of the nest are textured using acrylic gel medium. The eggs are created using real eggshells collaged on the surface and then painted for color and depth. The sides of the gallery wrapped canvas are finished and the back is wired to hang.
