About this artwork

I was inspired by the recent Super Moon to create Moondance Fifteen. I began by first staining the canvas random washes of intense watercolor (the colors come in eyedropper bottles!). I then added layers of transparent acrylic glaze which melts some of the dried watercolor. Then I applied crinkled wax paper, pressing firmly to later reveal a crinkled surface texture. I'm always surprised by the final result! (Wait, is there a .....wolf.....in there?)
