About this artwork

Part of artist Yelitza Diaz's Man on the Moon series. A naked bronze figure sits contemplatively by the edge of a ring. One arm is placed on his hip while the other rests on his crossed leg as he gazes to the distance. It is inspired by those feelings of nostalgia that lead the human being to connect with his loved ones who remain at a distance; a magical, spiritual, divine connection.
