About this artwork

Part of her ongoing Kintsugi Horse series, she uses broken and collaged eggshells to form the anatomy of her subject. A flock of barn swallows frolic in the sky as the equine leaps through the air. Jennifer uses a mellow palette that renders a soft atmosphere to the delicate image. "I wanted to tell a story about a horse that wants to fly with the birds," shares Jennifer.
