About this artwork

A beautiful butterfly alights on a buckskin horse in artist Jennifer Ross' impressionist work. This piece is about metamorphosis, says Jennifer. She composes the equine portrait using her eggshell technique, inspired by Kintsugi - a Japanese art form of repairing broken objects with gold lacquer.
