About this artwork

Three hummingbirds soar gracefully against a soft, dreamy sky filled with pastel clouds and golden light. Their delicate forms and jewel-toned bodies stand out against the serene backdrop. This scene was inspired by the artist Karen Barton's experience watching the birds take flight from her backyard feeder.
