About this artwork

The nest of a Chipping Sparrow, who lays the most beautiful eggs. I've used my eggshell-ing technique to collage real eggshells on the surface of the canvas and then painted. The nest is textured using acrylic gel medium and floral moss. The sides of the gallery wrapped canvas are finished and the piece is wired and ready to hang.
