About this artwork

The interior of a nest with two bird's eggs nestled together. The title is a phrase from a poem by Rumi Each must enter the nest made by the other imperfect bird. Eggshells are adhered to the canvas and then painted over to create the soft blue green color and the dimension of the eggs. The strands of the nest continue onto the sides of the gallery wrapped canvas. The back is wired to hang.
