About this artwork
My inspiration comes from the world around me. The intention of the piece is to explore the passage of time and how it effects the structure and fragility of life.  Without attention and care, aspects of life that mean the most begin to deteriorate and decay. This piece was made with paper, charcoal, colored pencil, and acrylic paint on cradled wood and the painting continues around the sides. The work comes ready to hang.
