About this artwork

Part of artist Scott Dykema's series of chimpanzees. Standing before a bright yellow background is a dapper primate wearing a golden chain above his two-piece suit. Patterns decorate his teal necktie as yellow drippings spill from his shoulders. The paintings from this series express a deep connection and similarities between primates and man, says Scott.
