About this artwork
Organic brushstrokes in my work always evoke nature and the happiness I find there. As I work and step back my goal is to create a cohesive arrangement throughout the work's evolution. It is when I step back that an image and subject will reveal itself to me. This painting dug into my concern about our environment and the dwindling bee population.
