About this artwork

A full moon shines brightly, casting a soft light over the landscape. A lone cardinal perches on a branch of a barren tree. For decades, artist Sally Adams has roller-bladed around this lake, witnessing many magical evenings. This time, she added a red-feathered friend to her scene. A subtle shimmer from gold leaf glows throughout the piece.
