About this artwork

In many of the hikes I took last summer, I'd come over a rise and see a huge expanse with water in the distance, and feel and hear that stillness of the outdoors that fills you up. Knowing that every inch in front of me is teeming with life, and still is so peaceful, I feel myself expanded. Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. Sealed with an archival gloss varnish which protects from dust and UV. The sides are prepared with matte black paint, cleanly enhancing the painting as the focal point. Hand-wired, this piece is ready to hang or frame. Signed on the front and back.
