About this artwork

This work is really about the formidable sky, and the lower half is deliberately kept simple and subtly colored so that the sky remains the hero. Rather than rendering realistic cloud formations, the sky is presented in a very expressionist manner, almost a frenzy of color. The sides are painted brown, and it arrives wired and ready to hang.
