About this artwork

In the year 2168, on Lenin Street—now relocated to Mars—an absurd new order unfolds. A fish seller haggles by the roadside, a couple rushes to the theater, and towering green horses loom over it all. In Aleksandr Mukhin’s surreal, candy-colored world, these horses are more than beasts—they’re the ones in charge. Whispers of rebellion circulate among the oddball citizens, but the real question remains: who brought the horses to Mars in the first place?
