About this artwork
This little boy in a blue shirt and old well-worn pants always dreamed of his own snare, Krzysztof Iwin explains of this portrait. One day, in the old house across the street, he found a trunk with various antiques in the attic. There was a small snare in this trunk, very dirty and dusty. The boy cleaned the drum and from then on he played it every day. When he grew up, he became a member of the military band and performed marching songs at parade drill shows.
