About this artwork

I was drawn the gestural quality in her pose. I loved the drama in the simplicity of this quiet and contemplative scene. Edges are gallery wrapped with black for a finished look that does not require framing. It is wired and ready to hang. Texture is thick so please check details to be able to appreciate it. I prepared the canvas with a gold wash that shines through and creates a luminous effect.
