About this artwork

Nothing captures the excitement of New York City like Christmas ornaments in and around Times Square, says artist Leroy Burt. This arrangement of decorations was displayed on the corner of 8th Avenue and 42nd Street. Once a seedy area filled with drug dealers, hustlers, and prostitutes, this area has now been cleaned up and filled with family-friendly restaurants and sight-seeing tourists.
