About this artwork

Soft clouds drift across a pastel sky and reflect on the calm lake below. Tall grasses and delicate white flowers frame the foreground, while trees and a mountain stand in the distance. The landscape emerged from an abstract start, later revealing itself to artist Kristina Ingvarsson as it evolved. The scene took her back to the time before life became complicated, back to when she would walk barefoot hand in hand with a crush, blushing and brimming with joy.
