Artist Statement

I bring a contemporary perspective to the profound legacy of 19th-century impressionism in my artistic exploration. Through my landscape and cityscape compositions, I aim to capture the delicate and sublime beauty that resides within both the natural and human-made realms. My artistic journey is to encapsulate the ever-changing interplay of light and motion while preserving the familiarity of discernible forms. For me, art is not merely a pursuit; it is an integral facet of my identity, a way of expressing the world as I perceive it. My formal training, consisting of a Bachelor's and Master's degree in painting and a Ph.D. in Fine Art Therapy, has provided the academic underpinning for my creative evolution. These educational achievements have enabled me to forge a profound connection between my artistic endeavors and my inner self.
