About this artwork

This piece is ceramic sculpture that has been finished in a way to look like bronze. The Small Being was individually hand-modeled with clay, at a medium temperature and then painted in bronze, then placed on a cube wood base that was draped and painted to look like bronze. For hung on the wall. With this piece I try to convey the effort it takes modern man to move up and out of the circumstances that make up his being and existence.
