About this artwork
This painting on canvas is part of a big project of origami subjects I have painted from the last 5 years. I have painted some calf and bull heads in origami hanged on neutral walls and I have painted another kind of animals in origami, but sometimes in my compositions are some colorful modular origami figures in traditional compositions too. Origami calf and bull heads have had a very positive response in the galleries and Art Fairs where they have been exhibited (USA and Latinamerica). This painting is stretched on Cedar wood ready to hang, but I highly recomend to frame it for more protection. The painting is made with professional high-quality oils (Old Holland, Maimeri Puro, Sennelier extra-fine, Michael Harding). It is varnished with Gamvar, a high-quality varnish made by Gamblin Colors Co. and developed in collaboration with the National Gallery of Art.
