About this artwork

I love to add double meanings to my paintings. New York city is called The Big Apple and what a nice way to represent it with a small statue of liberty figurine and a big apple on the side. New York is a big and sofisticated city..that´s why I painted the little statue of Liberty souvenir standing on top of a pedestal(the book)..I also wanted to represent the city´s sofistication with the marble table and its reflections. This piece comes ready to hang.
